Sandman Signature Hotel | Cavalier Carpets

Situated directly opposite the iconic St. James’ Park football stadium, the Sandman Signature Hotel is a vibrant and high-traffic destination in the heart of Newcastle. Cavalier Carpets was proud to be part of the interior transformation, supplying a bespoke woven carpet that brings both durability and striking design to this busy space.

We worked closely with interior designer Lorna Gillespie to bring her vision to life. Alongside Andrew Bruce Flooring, we invited them to see the bespoke carpet being woven, showcasing the craftsmanship behind every roll. The result was a striking axminster carpet that balanced style and durability for this busy hotel.

This project is a great example of how close partnerships and a shared commitment to quality can result in a standout interior. From concept to completion, the teamwork between the designer, flooring contractor, and Cavalier Carpets ensured the final product exceeded expectations.
