As part of the 2018/19 refurbishment of Bar 1812 at the Royal Exeter Hotel, Cavalier Carpets supplied a custom-designed nylon carpet featuring the venue’s logo. This carpet was chosen to complement the bar’s upscale aesthetic while providing a resilient flooring solution. Covering a large portion of the seating and dining area, it brings style and durability to a space that accommodates up to 300 guests per night.
Given the high volume of foot traffic and potential for spills in this busy environment, the carpet needed to withstand frequent use while maintaining its appearance. The venue has implemented a strategic cleaning regime, with daily spot cleaning to manage any stains and a full professional clean every six months. After five years of continuous use, the carpet remains in excellent condition, demonstrating the durability and quality of Cavalier Carpets' products.
