Lemlair House, Dingwall Residential
Lemlair House is a magnificent Victorian mansion, originally built in 1876 for the Munro Clan on the scenic shores of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands.
This stately home, with panoramic views across the Firth, has retained much of its historical charm, including high ceilings, stained glass windows, and unique features such as a possible Rennie Mackintosh fireplace.
As part of the restoration project, Cavalier Carpets supplied 386m² of a bespoke Herringbone design to complement the period features of the house while introducing a contemporary yet timeless flooring solution.
The bespoke herringbone carpet was chosen for its elegance and ability to enhance the mansion's character while offering a durable solution for the high-traffic areas. The project involved a close collaboration with David Conran of Conran Contracts, Esher, Surrey, who handled both the supply and fitting of the carpets, ensuring a seamless installation process.
